International
The Czech Republic is a contracting party of the Agreement on the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI) (pdf, 509 kB), a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which is an important international organization in industrial property protection field, and contractor of many multilateral international treaties concerning protection of industrial property administered by this organization.
Czech Republic is also a member of the European Patent Organization (EPO) and contractor of European Patent Convention, which is administered by the EPO.
It is also a contractor of Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) administered by the World Trade Organization (WTO).
