SME Fund - WARNING!

On July 12, 2024, the receipt of applications for Voucher 1 and Voucher 2 from the SME Fund was closed until further notice. Currently, you can only apply for Voucher 4, as the receipt of applications for Voucher 3 is also temporarily suspended. We recommend monitoring the EUIPO/SME Fund website, where the possible re-opening of applications will be published in time. Thank you for your understanding.

 

In 2021, EUIPO will implement the European Commission's COSME FUND for SMEs to rebuild the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. The Fund is expected to contribute to a faster recovery of the EU economy and to boost the growth of SMEs in the EU, thereby maintaining competitiveness.

From this fund, EUIPO will finance IP scans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the SME refunding 75% of this amount for the provided services. Intellectual property specialists will help the SME determine the value of intellectual property assets. This will make it easier for the SME to develop an intellectual property trading strategy both now and in the future.

In addition, this fund will provide a 50% subsidy for registration fees for trademarks and designs registered with EUIPO or national authorities.
