SME Fund – New Voucher 5
We are pleased to inform you that on 30 June 2026, Voucher No. 5 from the SME Fund (Fund for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) has been opened, focusing on Craft and Industrial Geographical Indications (CIGI).
This new voucher supports costs related to the registration of craft and industrial geographical indications. It provides financial support of up to €2,000 per beneficiary, covering, where applicable, 50% of:
- national registration fees charged by the competent authorities of EU Member States;
- direct application fees filed with EUIPO for products originating from Member States where no national phase applies;
- costs related to the preparation of the product specification document, provided that the CIGI application has been duly submitted.
Voucher No. 5 will be available to eligible applicants involved in the protection of craft and industrial geographical indications, including producer groups with at least one SME member, individual producers meeting SME criteria, and, where applicable, local or regional authorities or private entities designated by Member States.
