World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing a Regional Conference on Intellectual Property (IP) in the Digital Economy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs): Mastering the Game (3.0) on Business and Legal Issues for Video Game Industry Players, which would take place online and in Bucharest on September 6 and 7, 2021. The event would be organized in cooperation with the Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA), the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM), Romanian American University in Bucharest, with support from other international and local partners.
The event will be an excellent occasion to continue the discussion on, and promotion of, IP and videogames in Central European and Baltic States and Mediterranean Countries. The Conference, which will gather many industry leaders from the Region, will also give an opportunity to present the new tools, developed for the industry, which can enhance strategic use of IP by videogame developers, producers and consumers in the Region.
The Conference will have simultaneous interpretation in English and Romanian. The provisional program (pdf, 115 kB).
