Hybrid Regional Seminar on Public Health and Intellectual Property – Current Issues, Needs and Solutions - April 26, 2022 in Riga and online
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is co-organizing a Regional Seminar on Public Health and Intellectual Property – Current Issues, Needs and Solutions with the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia (LPO) and with other partners, to take place on April 26, 2022, in Riga and online.
The aim of the seminar is to look at the main current issues and challenges at the nexus of intellectual property and the health sector, and particularly at how intellectual property could be used as a tool to help solving them. The event will also focus on the contributions of innovative enterprises and start-ups in the health sector.
The seminar will take place on the occasion of the 2022 World Intellectual Property Day and be held in English and Latvian, with simultaneous interpretation.
