OPERATION OF THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY OFFICE SINCE 22 NOVEMBER 2021

In accordance with the recommendation of the Deputy Minister of the Interior for the civil service to take measures preventing the spread of COVID-19, following rules were implemented with effect from 22 November 2021:

Office hours:
Mondays and Wednesdays 8a.m. – 5p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8a.m. – 3p.m.
Fridays 8a.m. – 2p.m.

During a personal visit, it is necessary to wear respiratory protective equipment (nose, mouth), such as a respirator or similar equipment (always without exhalation valve) meeting all technical conditions and requirements (for the product), including filtration efficiency at least 94% according to relevant standards (e.g., FFP2, KN 95).

It is advisable to keep a distance of at least 2 meters between clients/public and, if the workplace is not equipped with a partition, also between clients/public and IPO employees.

The Office still ensures agendas within its competence. Databases of industrial rights (patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks) are being continuously updated. All important information for the public is available on the website www.upv.gov.cz.
